I told Jason this morning that he is officially my sugar daddy. I taught my last class at the good ol' Golds's Gym. My very close friend Christin came to the class and with the combination of a sappy cool down song, hormones and seeing her made me cry!!! I was so embarrassed. My ladies are just so great and a few of them let me take their picture after a sweaty workout. I really don't teach for the money. I love the connection to the people and having a social outlet that I have free child care for :) I am starting so many few phases right now, and today I am unemployed, and after a bit of sadness, right now I feel relief!

Ode to the First Trimester
For this ity bity life
I give my whole self
Take my personal plans
Put them up on a self
New things more important
Like eating and resting
Can't use the word crazy
So we just call it nesting
I need to write "pregnant"
Across my forehead
A simple way to show why
I look mostly dead
Not time for new clothes
or setting up a crib
Just try to stay grateful
As I lift up the lid
Feeling so weak
Compelled by the retching
I'm sure my poor husband
Finds all of this fetching
I finally have boobs
But does it really matter
They don't seem so cool
With the rest of me fatter
For now it's just me
With this growing babe
Our lives so intwined
The bond firmly made
Despite all my whining
Moping and moaning
We wait and we dream
Just praying and hoping
So I have to give in
And turn over this bod
Relinquish my pride
For our pea in pod

Sadly, my parenting happens mostly from a reclined position these days. Here the kids cooperated to make me a princess. I welcome all activities where I can remain seated. Man I hope I can survive these next few weeks.

Counting Down
Thanks to Madeline's obsession with our move we are getting daily/hourly reminders of how many days until we move. Today we are 32 days from our return home. I am feeling a bit lost in the process. There's really not much more to pack for a few weeks, I am feeling less and less inspired by my surrounding with all of my decorations down, and I am getting sad to leave my and my kids good friends.

Still, there are a few milestones to report. After much work, Madeline can at last lie her own shoes.

Jaxen took a dare to smash his yogurt on the floor of the cafeteria, and had a little talk with the principal. It's one of those stories that had Jason and I so worried now, but in a few years will make us laugh....right????
On a brighter note, after taking a fews weeks off of naps, Elijah is once again snoozing away the afternoons. (Thank goodness, I wasn't quite ready to give those up yet.)

And Jro completed the "March Mustache Madness"contest at work.

I must say I was not a fan of the facial hair, but I had always been curious how Jason would look since his dad is famous for his awesome 'stache. I guess not all things are like father like son.
Well, that's what we've been up to.
